Our Story

The Peterhead Fish Company was established in 2016 to promote and sell wholesale and retail seafood initially to customers in the North East of Scotland and in time expanding throughout Scotland. In 2017 catches totalling 173,996 tonnes with a value of £200,000,000 was landed in Peterhead the UK’s Premier Fishing Port. A large percentage of this is exported abroad to countries throughout Europe such as France, Spain and Italy.

Our goal at the Peterhead Fish Company is to make prime quality seafood landed at Peterhead more accessible to the Scottish consumer and to encourage a younger generation to develop a love for our local, healthy and wholesome bounty that is Scottish seafood!

In 2019 the Peterhead Fish Company was awarded the Independent Fresh Fish Retailer of the Year for 2018 for whole of the UK.
